1. All dogs must first be evaluated by us to ensure that they will be happy staying at a "free range" facility. It is not required for your pet to be trained with an invisible dog fence, but those who are trained in such a way are typically more open to such a facility. Evaluation times are 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Appointments encouraged but not necessary.

  2. Male dogs over the age of 12 months must be neutered, and female dogs cannot be "in heat".

  3. Puppies must have completed their entire series of Puppy Vaccinations before they may stay with us. This is to ensure their safety. Puppies have usually completed all required vaccinations by the time they are 8 to 12 weeks old, but check with your veterinarian to be sure.

  4. All guests must be current on their vaccinations. For dogs we ask that you fax or bring in a current Rabies Certificate, as well as proof of the annual DHLPP vaccination, and proof of Bordatella ("kennel cough") vaccination within the past six months.

  5. For cats we ask that you fax or bring in a current rabies certificate, as well as proof of up-to-date feline distemper & Leukemia vaccinations (sometimes referred to as "5 in 1" or "4 in 1" shots).

  6. Check-out time for our boarding guests is 12:00 noon. Any pets picked up after 12:00 noon will incur an additional day care charge. The latest pick-up time is 6:00 pm.

  7. Day care hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Guests staying four hours or less will be charged our half day rate. Guests staying more than four hours will be charged our full day rate. Guests not picked up by 6:00 p.m. will have the pleasure of spending the night with us, and will incur the full boarding rate.

  8. All guests will be treated by us for ticks, fleas, and mites once a month (most dogs = $9, cats and toy breed dogs = $5).

  9. Healthy meals are provided at no extra charge, or you may bring your pet’s own food from home. We will prepare up to three meals a day for our boarding guests.

  10. All dogs entering and leaving our facility must be on leash, and all cats must be in a proper carrier.

  11. Although we have staff on the premises 24 hours a day, the phones will not be answered before or after our regular business hours. This is to allow our guests a quiet environment to sleep peacefully without being interrupted by the ringing of the phone. All calls received by our answering machine will be returned the next day at the earliest possible opportunity. There are no pick-ups or drop-offs outside of our regular business hours.
